David Birnbach
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Birnbach has worked in the software industry for 25 years, and has extensive experience in both software development as well as sales and marketing. Prior to joining Vaultus, he served as an executive with Marketsoft, where he led the sales organizations in the U.S. and abroad. He has also held management and executive positions with Onyx Software and Digital Equipment Corporation. A strong advocate for education, Mr. Birnbach has been a member of the Andover School Board in Andover, Massachusetts, and also a member of MIT Sloan School of Management's executive education assessment committee.
Mr. Birnbach holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Arizona, and an M.S. in Management of Technology from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
Arvind Goyal
CTO: Senior Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Goyal brings over 20 years experience in all aspects of product development. He has management experience in developing enterprise level software with millions of users, and is the co-author of one of the industry standards for exchanging PIM data. Prior to Vaultus, Mr. Goyal was Development Director at Lotus/IBM, where he managed product teams on a worldwide basis, and was primarily responsible for creating several new product lines that led to significant new revenue streams. Mr. Goyal holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from BITS, Pilani and graduate degree in Computer Science from IIT, Roorkee (India).
Joseph George
Chief Software Architect, Founder
Mr. George has 15 years experience in all aspects of software design, development, and architecture. He was a member of the Java Community Process Expert Groups that produced JSR 75 (PDA Optional Packages) and JSR118 (MIDP 2.0), which are installed on most smartphones on the market today. Prior to founding Vaultus, Mr. George worked at Bell Labs where he researched shared memory management in distributed systems, and at the MIT Media Lab.
Mr. George holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Michael Pelonero
Vice President of Business Development and Sales
Michael is responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, including
direct and indirect sales channels. Michael brings more than 18 years of
sales and Executive sales management experience in Enterprise Software,
telecommunications and communications companies to Vaultus. He has a proven
track record of accelerating sales growth. Prior to joining Vaultus, Michael
was the Senior Vice President of Sales for Send Word Now where he was
responsible for Global Sales and Business Development. While at Send Word
Now Sales grew by 300% under his leadership.
Prior to Send Word Now, Michael was also a Regional Vice President of Sales
for Ascendent Systems, a subsidiary of Research in Motion (RIM), where he
was responsible for all aspects of revenue generation and customer
satisfaction for the Eastern Region. While at Ascendent he helped grow
revenue significantly and helped drive the company towards its acquisition
by RIM.
Oonagh O'Regan
Director of Marketing
Oonagh manages the marketing function at Vaultus Mobile Technologies. Oonagh brings 9 years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across domestic and global environments. Oonagh specializes in building presence via awareness initiatives and targeted lead gen programs.
Prior to Vaultus, Oonagh worked on the Application Acceleration team at Akamai Technologies, developing and executing highly targeted programs. Oonagh managed European marketing at Globoforce where she organized the adoption of a new CRM system and increased incoming leads by 100% via online marketing programs, SEO best practices, direct marketing campaigns, targeted public relations and turn-key lead tracking. Oonagh spent 6 years working in California and among her biggest accomplishments in California managed the marketing at Computer Market Research where she helped to double sales with new sales cycle methodology, marketing strategy and training courses for global client sales teams. Oonagh holds an honors B.A. in Business from CIT, in Cork Ireland.
Tina Kim
Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Client Services
Tina Kim currently leads the client services team at Vaultus. She has been a member of the Vaultus team from its inception and brings more than 12 years of experience in the IT software consulting field. She has in addition driven other aspects of the organization including product testing and quality assurance. Her primary focus in recent years has been managing the seemless delivery of products for opportunities that play into the strategic direction of Vaultus. Tina is today a backbone to many strategic product initiatives at Vaultus and will guide product planning as we head into '09.
Tina Kim holds B.A. in Economics and Russian/East-European Studies from Wesleyan University.
